Advice for playing a Merchant? I really think a cool and unique way to play this game would be to use a caravan instead of a warband and be a merchant instead of a warlord. Slowly rising up from a lowly goods peddler to a trade empire with enterprises in every major city is definitely a goal that would be tons of fun.
Smelting and Selling Weapons. Anytime you kill bandits or looters, which you should be doing to level up your troops, you will get a large amount of armor and weapons. You can then take these and sell them to your bank for a good amount of money. It would be best if you were smelting down the throwing and melee weapons rather than selling them
