I tested a 1996 C280 Elegance prior to my purchase of my 1999 C280 Sport Edition with the V6 engine. The difference was that the acceleration. The Inline 6 needed more time to pickup speed. Thanks again. The Water Pump on my C280 actually bolts up to the side of the engine block just like a Power Steering Pump. The tricky part is seeing what to actually pull off to get to it. It seems to have Allen bolts and regular metric hex bolts as well. Also finding the belt tensioner and loosen that up as well. The Mercedes-Benz C36 got the ball rolling in 1995.
