You could go into disgnostic mode to test the display of your car! - Push and hold the trip reset button next to your gauges and turn on the ignition. Keep it pushed for about 10 seconds and it should say "TEST" on your info display! Now if you release the trip reset button and press it it should browse tests and readouts.
