Your transmission control module can be uncovered in a variety of locations from under your center console, around the footwell of your vehicle, in the transmission case, or even within your gearbox. Disconnect the negative (thick black) lead which is bolted to the chassis to the right of the battery box - undo the nut and pull the terminal away without causing any sparking. Leave the battery disconnected for 10 mins before reconnecting - again be careful not to cause sparking. Reply Quote. D.
35 posts · Joined 2020. #17 · Oct 2, 2020. Well an update on my Bluetooth module, I have changed it for a 8M5T-19C112-AS module from a 2010-2012 model Mondeo, it has the usb port and I have fitted the cable, I was hoping it would be a fit and play but no luck!

So I went to follow this guide and found my Bluetooth module is already a newer version (part number CN19-14D212-LE , manufactured 19/01/2016 ). My onscreen display, however, is listing the module as a AM5T-14D545-LF.

4749 posts · Joined 2007. #11 · Jul 29, 2020. They're torx screws. Get the glovebox out to do it. Awkward job. Gotta take mine out too. I had fitted the RS stereo and bluetooth but gone aftermarket now. May as well put it up for sale. A little more weight to remove lol.
